    Hey Arcadians,

    We've got some very exciting news to share with you today!

    Over the last few months, Arcadian has grown out to be an insanely huge and increasingly popular Minecraft Server, and we cannot thank you enough for your continuous support! To be providing so many players with a fun, unique and exciting experience is truly amazing! Today marks another milestone for the Arcadian community, as we announce an entirely new server. Let's jump into it...

    Yes, you read the title right: We are launching Clans! This gamemode is a mix between Skyblock and actual player clans. This combination brings the best of both worlds: A gametype that you already love, and an awesome new feature that puts the focus on fighting & PvP. See... If we were to launch just the clans by itself, it probably would've turned a little boring, hence this decision. Additionally, this allows us to share the increasing load from the Skyblock server with another.

    Clans
    So, assuming you are all wondering what clans stand for, allow me to explain... A clan consists out of a group of players, forming their own alliance. Some may recognize this as "Factions", however this is a little bit different.

    As where with Factions you fight for a certain amount of land, the entire point of clans are clan points. You may earn clan points by exchanging them for in-game money, and you may "bet" points on clan battles. Battles take place on one of our maps, and consist out of a few members of your group fighting against the members of another group. You can see all the ongoing battles at the NPC in spawn. The winner takes the clan points.

    You can use clan points in the shop, where exclusive items will be added as time progresses.

    Besides battles, there are leaderboards and headquarters you can set for clan members to teleport to. And.. Clan members can be put into different groups! More details on all this below:

    Commands:

    • /clan create <name>: Create a clan
    • /clan invite <name>: Invite a player to your clan
    • /clan kick <name>: Kick a player from your clan
    • /clan leave: Leave a clan (Disband it if you're a leader)
    • /clan setrank <player> <rank>: Set the rank of a player (more on this below)
    • /clan info <clan>: View information about your own or another clan
    • /clan deposit <amount>: Deposit clan points into your clan
    • /clan chat: Switch to clan chat
    • /clan sethome: Set your clan's home
    • /clan home: Teleport to your clan's home
    • /clan top: View top clans
    • /clan battle <map> <points>: Start a clan battle. The available maps will show if you don't enter one. After you start a battle, it will show up on the NPC at spawn. Other clans can then accept your battle.
    Ranks:
    • Member (Default):
      /clan leave, /clan info, /clan deposit, /clan top, /clan chat
    • Sergeant:
      /clan leave, /clan info, /clan deposit, /clan top, /clan chat, /clan home
    • Captain:
      /clan leave, /clan info, /clan deposit, /clan top, /clan chat, /clan home, /clan sethome
    • Warleader (Can only be 1 member):
      /clan leave, /clan info, /clan deposit, /clan top, /clan chat, /clan home, /clan sethome, /clan invite,
      /clan kick, /clan battle
    • Leader (Default to clan owner):
      /clan leave, /clan info, /clan deposit, /clan top, /clan chat, /clan home, /clan sethome, /clan invite,
      /clan kick, /clan battle, /clan setrank
    Custom Enchantments
    Clans comes with a variety of custom enchantments. In the future, these may be won from crates keys and other methods, however for now you can claim a random book from 4 categories at the Enchantment Manager in the spawn.

    Once you right click the NPC, a menu will open. Each category has its own individual XP cost which you will see if you hover your mouse over a category. Once you received a book, you may right click it to open the enchantment GUI. From there, you can easily insert the item you would like to enchant with that book.

    The available enchantments are:

    Common:
    Speedster (2 levels) (Boots) (Cooldown = Not applicable)
    • Level 1: The Speed 1 potion effect
    • Level 2: The Speed 2 potion effect
    Jumper (2 levels) (Boots) (Cooldown = Not applicable)
    • Level 1: The Jump Boost 1 potion effect
    • Level 2: The Jump Boost 2 potion effect
    Night Vision (1 level) (Helmet) (Cooldown = Not applicable)
    • Level 1: Gives player a perm night vision potion
    Drugged (2 levels) (Helmet) (Cooldown = Not applicable)
    • Level 1: Regain food points 2x faster
    • Level 2: Regain food points 3x faster
    Strike (5 levels) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 10 seconds)
    • Level 1: 5% chance to deal +1 attack damage
    • Level 2: 8% chance to deal +1 attack damage
    • Level 3: 10% chance to deal +1 attack damage
    • Level 4: 10% chance to deal +2 attack damage
    • Level 5: 12% chance to deal +2 attack damage
    Smelter (3 levels) (Pickaxe) (Cooldown = 15 seconds)
    • Level 1: 20% chance to autosmelt the item you’re mining
    • Level 2: 40% chance to autosmelt the item you’re mining
    • Level 3: 60% chance to autosmelt the item you’re mining
    Sapling (2 levels) (Axe) (Cooldown = 60 seconds)
    • Level 1: 20% chance to receive a sapling of the tree you’re cutting down
    • Level 2: 30% chance to receive a sapling of the tree you’re cutting down
    Uncommon:
    Myopia (3 levels) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 20 seconds)
    • Level 1: 5% chance to give opponent 5 seconds of blindness
    • Level 2: 8% chance to give opponent 8 seconds of blindness
    • Level 3: 10% chance to give opponent 10 seconds of blindness
    Brainwashed (2 levels) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 40 seconds)
    • Level 1: 4% chance to give enemy 5 seconds of nausea
    • Level 2: 8% chance to give enemy 7 seconds of nausea
    Double (3 levels) (Bow) (Cooldown = 5 seconds)
    • Level 1: 3% to shoot double arrows
    • Level 2: 5% to shoot double arrows
    • Level 3: 8% to shoot double arrows
    Blocker (5 levels) (All armor) (Cooldown = 10 seconds)
    • Level 1: 5% chance to reduce -1 attack damage
    • Level 2: 8% chance to reduce -1 attack damage
    • Level 3: 10% chance to reduce -1 attack damage
    • Level 4: 10% chance to reduce -2 attack damage
    • Level 5: 12% chance to reduce -2 attack damage
    Lifesteal (2 levels) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 30 seconds)
    • Level 1: 4% chance to receive 2HP when hitting an enemy
    • Level 2: 6% chance to receive 4HP when hitting an enemy
    Regrowth (3 levels) (Helmet) (Cooldown = Not applicable)
    • Level 1: Restores 0.5 hearts every 10 seconds
    • Level 2: Restores 1 heart every 10 seconds
    • Level 3: Restores 2 hearts every 10 seconds
    Enlighten (1 level) (Helmet) (Cooldown = Not applicable)
    • Level 1: Completely immune to Brainwashed
    Explosive (5 levels) (Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel) (Cooldown = 20 seconds)
    • Level 1: 5% chance to explode blocks in a 2x2 radius
    • Level 2: 10% chance to explode blocks in a 2x2 radius
    • Level 3: 12% chance to explode blocks in a 3x3 radius
    • Level 4: 15% chance to explode blocks in a 3x3 radius
    • Level 5: 20% chance to explode blocks in a 4x4 radius
    SilkGrass (2 level) (Shovel) (Cooldown = 20 seconds)
    • Level 1: 30% chance of receiving grass (instead of dirt) whilst digging dirt
    • Level 2: 60% chance of receiving grass (instead of dirt) whilst digging dirt
    Rare:
    Haste (3 levels) (All tools, Sword) (Cooldown = Not applicable)
    • Level 1: Digging/Attack Speed increases by 10%
    • Level 2: Digging/Attack Speed increases by 20%
    • Level 3: Digging/Attack Speed increases by 30%
    Slug (4 levels) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 30 seconds)
    • Level 1: 5% chance of giving enemy 3 seconds of slowness upon enemy hit
    • Level 2: 7% chance of giving enemy 5 seconds of slowness upon enemy hit
    • Level 3: 10% chance of giving enemy 7 seconds of slowness upon enemy hit
    • Level 4: 15% chance of giving enemy 10 seconds of slowness upon enemy hit
    Freeze (3 levels) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 20 seconds)
    • Level 1: 2% chance to freeze player for 1 second
    • Level 2: 5% chance to freeze player for 2 seconds
    • Level 3: 8% chance to freeze player for 3 seconds
    Heartstealer (1 level) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 180 seconds)
    • Level 1: 3% chance to swap HP with enemy player
    Skelly (5 levels) (Bow) (Cooldown = 60 seconds)
    • Level 1: 1% chance to spawn a skeleton near the enemy
    • Level 2: 2% chance to spawn a skeleton near the enemy
    • Level 3: 3% chance to spawn a skeleton near the enemy
    • Level 4: 4% chance to spawn a skeleton near the enemy
    • Level 5: 5% chance to spawn a skeleton near the enemy
    Return (3 levels) (All armor) (Cooldown = 10 seconds)
    • Level 1: 2% chance of cancelling and returning attack damage
    • Level 2: 4% chance of cancelling and returning attack damage
    • Level 3: 6% chance of cancelling and returning attack damage

    • Level 1: Keep 25% of your inventory upon death

    • Level 1: Completely immune to Myopia

    Cannibal (3 levels) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 10 seconds)
    • Level 1: 5% chance of receiving 2 Hunger Points upon enemy hit
    • Level 2: 10% chance of receiving 3 Hunger Points upon enemy hit
    • Level 3: 15% chance of receiving 4 Hunger Points upon enemy hit
    Hothead (3 levels) (All armor) (Cooldown = 30 seconds)
    • Level 1: 5% chance that the enemy that hits you will catch fire for 3 seconds
    • Level 2: 10% chance that the enemy that hits you will catch fire for 5 seconds
    • Level 3: 15% chance that the enemy that hits you will catch fire for 8 seconds
    Zeus (3 levels) (Axe, Sword, Bow) (Cooldown = 60 seconds)
    • Level 1: 3% chance to struck enemy with lightning upon hit
    • Level 2: 5% chance to struck enemy with lightning upon hit
    • Level 3: 8% chance to struck enemy with lightning upon hit
    Juggernaut (2 levels) (Axe, Sword) (Cooldown = Not applicable)
    • Level 1: Receive the Slowness and Resistance 1 effects whilst holding the item
    • Level 2: Receive the Slowness and Resistance 2 effects whilst holding the item
    Spikes (3 levels) (All armor) (Cooldown = 10 seconds)
    • Level 1: 2% chance of cancelling attack and returning 1.5x the damage
    • Level 2: 3% chance of cancelling attack and returning 1.5x the damage
    • Level 3: 4% chance of cancelling attack and returning 1.5x the damage
    Fireball (3 levels) (Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel) (Cooldown = 60 seconds)
    • Level 1: 10% chance to shoot a fireball upon use. Cosmetic only, should play sound effect
    • Level 2: 20% chance to shoot a fireball upon use. Cosmetic only, should play sound effect
    • Level 3: 30% chance to shoot a fireball upon use. Cosmetic only, should play sound effect
    Treefeller (3 levels) (Axe) (Cooldown = 120 seconds)
    • Level 1: 10% chance of breaking the entire tree whilst cutting it down
    • Level 2: 20% chance of breaking the entire tree whilst cutting it down
    • Level 3: 35% chance of breaking the entire tree whilst cutting it down

    The Clans server also comes with a variety of entirely new builds! From spawn, to islands, to maps.... Check out a few screenshots below:
    Other
    Additionally, we've made some small changes to the shop, the GUIs and the design of our scoreboard and holograms. Items that used to be in the cobblestone generator (Such as diamonds and emeralds) are now much more valuable! Let us know what you think about this update!

    We are super excited to be bringing you these features and cannot wait to see what you think of them! Clans will release tomorrow, the 14th of July, at 3PM EST under BETA test. You will be able to purchase a beta pass on the store, which will give you acces to the server a week in advance (until we officially release).     They won't because there would be too much of a money lose to the server. Although many people would be happy it would hurt the server and we don't wanna do that :p
